Gemini App Launches Feature for Speedy Responses
Google has launched a new feature in the Gemini app designed for users who require prompt answers. The “Answer Now” button allows individuals to bypass lengthy explanations in favor of swift replies.
New Features in Gemini App
Available for Gemini 3 Pro and Gemini 3 Thinking/Flash, the Answer Now button appears alongside the loading indicator. However, this feature is currently not offered in the Fast model.
User Limits for Gemini Models
Recent updates have also adjusted the usage limits for the various Gemini models:
- AI Pro: 300 Thinking prompts and 100 Pro prompts daily.
- AI Ultra: 1,500 Thinking prompts and 500 Pro prompts daily.
- Free Users: Limited to Basic access for both Thinking and Pro models.
How the Answer Now Feature Works
To utilize the Answer Now feature, users simply pose a general question and select the button for a quick response. When activated, Gemini confirms that it is bypassing in-depth processing, with the answer provided shortly after.
It’s important to note that Gemini will choose the appropriate model to respond rather than defaulting to Fast mode.
Personal Intelligence Integration
Additionally, Google recently introduced the Personal Intelligence feature in Gemini. This tool customizes responses based on a user’s interactions within the Google ecosystem, including Gmail and YouTube history. It’s worth mentioning that this feature is disabled by default, giving users the option to select the apps that Gemini can access.
Availability of the Update
The new Answer Now feature is now available for both free and paid users of Gemini. It can be utilized on various platforms, including Android, iOS, and the web.
This significant update aims to enhance user experience by prioritizing speed and accessibility in query responses.
