Michael (Sully) O’Sullivan, originally from Coolroe East, Ballyhar in Killarney, passed away unexpectedly on January 9, 2026. His sudden departure has left a void in the lives of many.

Personal Life and Family

Michael was predeceased by his dear parents, Sean and Marie. He is survived by his wife Triona and their children, Kayla and Micheál. His siblings include brother Brendan and sisters Marian and Helen. Michael’s family extends through his mother-in-law Aoife and multiple sisters-in-law, including Bernie and Erin.

Community and Presence

Michael will be deeply missed by a wide-ranging circle, including cousins, relatives, neighbors, and friends. His kind nature and community contributions have left a lasting impact.

Funeral Arrangements

A wake will be held at Eamon O’Connor’s Funeral Home in Firies on Monday evening, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The funeral cortège for Michael (Sully) O’Sullivan will arrive at the Sacred Heart Church in Ballyhar on Tuesday morning at 10:50 AM. A Requiem Mass will follow at 11:00 AM, with burial in Aghadoe Lawn Cemetery.
