Teresa Palmer and Ryan Hurst are set to star in the upcoming Prime Video series, *God of War*. This highly anticipated show is inspired by the popular PlayStation game embodying ancient mythology.

Production Details

Amazon, in collaboration with Sony Pictures Television and MGM Studios, has ordered two seasons of *God of War*. Pre-production is currently taking place in Vancouver, and casting efforts are underway.

Ronald D. Moore, known for his work on *Outlander* and *For All Mankind*, is the writer, showrunner, and executive producer of the series. Additional executive producers include:

About the Story

*God of War* explores the journey of Kratos and his son Atreus as they endeavor to spread the ashes of Faye, Kratos’ wife and Atreus’ mother. Throughout their adventures, the two work to teach each other valuable lessons about their respective roles—as a god and as a human.

Kratos, originally a Spartan, is known for his fierce combat skills and tragic backstory. He made a pivotal deal with Ares, the Greek God of War, leading to a tumultuous existence marked by struggles against mortals, creatures, and gods.
