On Thursday, Lynchburg firefighters responded to a significant vehicle fire on Oakley Avenue. The emergency occurred in the 500 block, prompting a quick reaction from Engine 6 and Rescue 1 from Fire Station 6.

Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a large camper engulfed in flames. Crews commenced their firefighting efforts immediately, leading to the incident being classified as a working fire.
