- The second champion will now launch in Season 1, not in Season 2.
This shift will primarily affect the timing of Ranked resets and Battle Pass updates. Forbes mentioned that they aim to align these with a more streamlined gameplay experience.

The developers are keeping up with the character release schedule, ensuring a new fighter is expected every two months. The next significant update will be on January 20, aligning with the official launch of 2XKO for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
