Love Island All Stars Rescheduled for Launch After South Africa Wildfires
Love Island All Stars has officially rescheduled its premiere after wildfires affected filming in South Africa. The show is set to return to ITV2 and ITVX on Thursday, January 15, at 9 PM.
New Launch Date Confirmed
Initially, the series was scheduled to debut on Monday, January 12. However, due to wildfires near Cape Town, the launch faced delays for safety reasons. Overwhelming conditions caused by severe fires and strong winds led to an evacuation of the filming location.
Filming Delays and Emergency Response
Emergency services reported progress in controlling the fires affecting South Africa’s Western and Eastern Cape regions. The estimated timeline for resuming production is now aligned with the new launch date.
Returning to Love Island
The show will feature a lineup of former contestants eager to rekindle romance. This includes two winners from previous seasons: Jess Harding, 25, and Millie Court, 29. Other notable participants are:

- Jack Keating, son of pop star Ronan Keating

Host and Episode Schedule
Maya Jama returns as the show’s host. Following the premiere, an additional episode is planned for Saturday, January 17, at 9 PM on ITV2.
Previous Season Insights
The last season of Love Island attracted 2.6 million viewers for its opening episode, reflecting a 9% growth in streaming on ITVX compared to the previous year. However, the series also experienced over 14,000 viewer complaints related to allegations of bullying and abusive behavior, especially concerning conflicts among contestants.
