Authorities Report Last Year’s Death of Alexander Brothers’ Accuser

Authorities are currently investigating the death of Kate Whiteman, an Australian woman whose allegations against Oren and Alon Alexander sparked numerous similar claims worldwide. Whiteman was found dead late last year near Sydney at the age of 45. The New South Wales coroner’s office confirmed her death, which is under investigation as there are questions surrounding its circumstances.

Allegations Against the Alexander Brothers

Whiteman accused the Alexander brothers of sexual assault, alleging that the incident occurred in 2012 after they met at a Manhattan nightclub. She claimed they coerced her into an SUV and drove her to Sir Ivan’s Castle in the Hamptons, where she was assaulted. Her lawsuit was filed in March 2024, highlighting serious allegations against these prominent figures.

  • Oren Alexander: A New York-based real estate agent known for high-profile sales.
  • Alon Alexander: Works as an executive in a family-owned security business.
  • Additional Allegations: Rebecca Mandel, another accuser, filed her lawsuit, claiming drugging and assault at a 2010 Manhattan party.

Legal Proceedings and Defense

The Alexander brothers have consistently denied all allegations. Following the lawsuits from Whiteman and Mandel, a growing number of women began to come forward, culminating in ten women sharing their stories with The New York Times in July 2024. Many reported experiencing memory blackouts, which they believed were due to being drugged.

In December 2024, the situation escalated when the F.B.I. and Miami police arrested the brothers, charging them with federal sex trafficking conspiracy with 11 counts against them. They are currently held without bail, and their trial is scheduled to begin in Manhattan federal court on January 26, 2025.
