Instead, the game is exclusively available through Hypixel’s own launcher. Why Hytale Is Not on Steam

Patrick Derbic, the executive producer of Hytale, explained that releasing the game through a dedicated launcher allows the team to maintain closer communication with its community. He noted that launching on Steam could result in “cold first impressions” that might negatively influence the game’s direction. Furthermore, Hypixel is committed to addressing criticism, emphasizing its readiness to consider “honest, negative feedback.”
