Apple Arcade Welcomes Civilization VII Arrival
Sid Meier’s Civilization VII is set to debut on Apple Arcade on February 5th. Players can access this classic strategy game through their iPhone, iPad, or Mac via a subscription costing $6.99 per month.
Civilization VII: Gameplay and Features
The latest installment retains the essence of the original PC game. Players will expand their empires while assuming the roles of historic leaders from around the world. The Apple Arcade version is equipped with touch controls, as well as mouse and controller support for macOS and iOS users.
Limitations of the Apple Arcade Version
- Civilization VII Arcade Edition will not support multiplayer at launch.
- The game will lack downloadable content available on PC and other platforms.
- Only devices with more than 8GB of RAM can access large and huge map sizes.
Additional Additions to Apple Arcade
On the same day, Apple Arcade will introduce several other titles. Among them is the Retrocade, featuring classic games such as:
- Asteroids
- Bubble Bobble
- Centipede
- Galaga
Other new entries include Felicity’s Door, a rhythm game, and I Love Hue Too+, a puzzle game. These titles will join Civilization VII in expanding the Apple Arcade library.
