Halliday Signs with The Dee
Dundee Football Club has officially signed experienced defender Brad Halliday from Bradford City. The contract is a two-and-a-half-year deal, pending international clearance. Halliday, aged 30, joins the Dark Blues after spending three-and-a-half years with the Bantams.
Brad Halliday’s Background
Brad Halliday began his career in the youth academy of Middlesbrough. Over the years, he was loaned out to several clubs, including:
- York City
- Hartlepool United
- Accrington Stanley
After his time at Middlesbrough, he transferred to Cambridge United permanently. There, he played for three years before short stints at Doncaster Rovers and Fleetwood Town. In the summer of 2022, he transferred to Bradford City and quickly became a fan favorite.
A Rising Star at Bradford
At Bradford, Halliday earned the nickname “The Ginger Cafu.” His impressive performances led to his inclusion in the EFL League Two Team of the Year last season. Throughout his career, Halliday has amassed over 450 senior appearances.
