Marc Carena’s Background
Carena joined Mars in 2022, bringing a wealth of experience from various sectors. Before his tenure at Mars, he served as Managing Director at McDonald’s in Russia, where he oversaw over 60,000 employees, making it one of the fastest-growing markets for the company. His expertise includes managing diverse roles within retail and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) at companies such as Metro Group and Nestlé. Additionally, he serves as Vice President of the European Food and Drink Association, advocating for FMCG interests in Europe.
