New Thriller Starring Slow Horses and Sherwood Actors Premieres on TV Tonight

Channel 5 launches Missed Call, a four-part thriller that premieres on TV tonight. The first episode airs Monday 13 April at 9pm.

Episodes follow each night this week, concluding on Thursday 16 April. Viewers can watch the complete run during the week.

Storyline

The drama centres on Sarah, a single mother desperate to find her teenage daughter. Katie is on a school exchange in a picturesque French village.

Sarah receives a late-night missed call that forces her to travel to France. There she finds the host family and local authorities oddly indifferent to Katie’s disappearance.

Refusing to accept complacency, Sarah launches her own investigation. Her search escalates into a tense and dangerous race against time.

Joanna Scanlan leads as Sarah. Scanlan is best known for her work on Slow Horses.

Robert Lindsay also stars in the series. Among the Sherwood actors involved, Lindsay brings significant dramatic experience.

This new thriller was created by Samuel Kissous and Matthew Thomas. Thomas co-wrote the scripts with Sally Abbott and Paul Matthew Thompson.
