Fire Engulfs Multiple Delivery Trucks Overnight in Biguglia
A late-night blaze destroyed several delivery vehicles at a beverage distribution site in Biguglia. The fire broke out during the night of Sunday, April 5 to Monday, April 6.

Haute-Corse firefighters responded at about 4:36 a.m. to the Tragone industrial zone. The Centre Opérationnel Départemental d’Incendie et de Secours (Codis 2B) provided the initial information to Filmogaz.com.
The site involved is operated by Cap Boissons. The overnight fire engulfed multiple delivery trucks parked within the premises.
Emergency response and damage
Nine firefighters were deployed to tackle the blaze. Between six and eight delivery trucks were burned, according to emergency services.
The fire was brought under control and did not spread to other buildings. No injuries or fatalities have been reported.
Ongoing investigation
The origin of the fire remains unknown. Police have opened inquiries to determine whether the cause was accidental or deliberate.
The Bastia public prosecutor’s office had not been reached for comment at the time of reporting. Authorities continue their on-site examinations and witness interviews.
