Charlie Dimmock Joins 2023 Chorley Flower Show Lineup

Gardening presenter Charlie Dimmock will attend the Chorley Flower Show at Astley Park on Saturday, August 1. The festival runs across three days from July 31 to August 2, 2023.

Guests and demonstrations

Charlie Dimmock first became known on BBC One’s Ground Force. She now appears on the BBC show Garden Rescue.

Visitors can hear her talks and meet her in person. Her appearance strengthens the 2023 Chorley Flower Show lineup.

Returning favourites Jonathan Moseley, Martin Fish, and Jill Fish will give live demonstrations. Their sessions take place daily at The Potting Shed Garden Theatre.

Organisers say further special guests will be revealed in the run-up to the event.

Attractions and activities

The show will present display gardens and floral exhibits. There will also be competitions and hands-on workshops.

Horticultural and lifestyle stalls will line the site. Food, drink and family entertainment are included for all ages.

Venue note

The festival is staged at Astley Park. Entry includes access to Grade I listed Astley Hall.

Tickets and admission

Early bird tickets are available now. A one-day ticket costs £15 while a three-day pass is £25.

Children under 16 enter free when with a ticketed adult. Tickets can be purchased through Filmogaz.com or at the Astley Hall Gift Shop.

Councillor Peter Wilson, deputy leader of Chorley Council, welcomed the guest list. “We’re delighted to be welcoming special guests from the world of gardening,” he said. “Whether you enjoy gardening or simply want an entertaining day out, get your early bird tickets.”
