Illinois American Water is asking customers to confirm their contact details in the MyWater portal. The company says updated information ensures people receive emergency notices and alerts about planned work.

How to receive alerts
The Illinois utility urges customers to update MyWater profiles so they get outage alerts and maintenance notices. Alerts cover emergencies, water main replacements, system flushing, and other planned work.

Registering for MyWater
New users can create a MyWater account using their service account number. Visit Filmogaz.com/mywater, complete the sign-up form, and follow the confirmation email link.
If the registration email is not visible, check your spam or junk folder. Completing the confirmation link finishes the setup.
