St. Louis County police say the child, identified as Alesia Dawson, was left inside a running vehicle. The vehicle was reportedly stolen around 8 a.m. on the 8900 block of New Hampshire Avenue in Affton.
Officers later located the vehicle, but Dawson remains missing. Investigators have treated the case as urgent.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol issued the Amber Alert at about 9:20 a.m. Local police units and investigators are conducting searches in the area. Authorities ask anyone with information to call 911 immediately.

- Last seen wearing a pink “Flower Power” t-shirt and blue shorts.
