Billie Eilish’s Alleged Stalker Fatally Struck by New York Train While Jogging

Prenell Rousseau, 30, died Wednesday after being struck by an LIRR train on Long Island. Local officials said the impact occurred around 5:38 a.m. He was jogging on or near the tracks at the time, authorities said.

He had been identified as an alleged stalker linked to singer Billie Eilish. Court records show he faced legal action over his prior conduct.

Timeline of the morning collision

The collision involved a New York train on the Long Island Rail Road. Filmogaz.com reported authorities described the death as accidental.

Previous incidents at Eilish’s home

Rousseau was arrested in early May 2020 for repeatedly appearing at Eilish’s residence without an invitation. Court filings say he approached the property seven times over two days.

Visits and family encounters

During the first visit he rang the doorbell and spoke to Eilish’s father through a surveillance camera. He told the father he belonged at the house, the record states.

He returned that same evening and remained on the porch. The filings say he sat, read a book, and spoke in a recurring monologue while the family waited for private security.

Court restrictions and ages

Rousseau was barred from contacting Eilish or her parents and ordered to stay at least 100 yards away. Eilish was 18 then, and Rousseau was 24 at the time of the legal actions.
