Richard Ashcroft returned to Liverpool to play the M&S Bank Arena on 26 March 2026. The show was the second night of a short run of dates.

Ashcroft opened with “Hold On” from his album These People. He wore his trademark sunglasses and delivered strong vocals throughout.
He moved around the stage with a distinctive swagger. He often knelt and engaged directly with the audience.

Ashcroft touted his North West roots on stage. He playfully claimed the informal title of Liverpool’s favorite woolyback.
He had been performing again following a major reunion tour. That tour reportedly drew about 1.4 million people across UK stadium dates.
