Philadelphia Reveals 2026 Love Run Road Closures and Parking Restrictions
City officials released road closure and safety details for the Saucony Love Run Philadelphia Half Marathon and 7.6K. The race is scheduled for Sunday, March 29, 2026, and will proceed rain or shine.
Officials in Philadelphia released details for the 2026 Love Run, including road closures and parking restrictions. Motorists should expect traffic delays and consider alternate routes.
Road closures
Closures beginning at 3 a.m. (until about 1 p.m.)
- Benjamin Franklin Parkway: 22nd Street to Eakins Oval.
- Eakins Oval: Benjamin Franklin Parkway to the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
- Martin Luther King Jr. Drive: Eakins Oval to Falls Bridge.
- Kelly Drive: Eakins Oval to Fairmount Avenue.
Course-wide closures (approx. 6:45 a.m.)
- Benjamin Franklin Parkway: 16th Street to Eakins Oval.
- 16th Street: Benjamin Franklin Parkway to John F. Kennedy Boulevard.
- John F. Kennedy Boulevard: 16th Street to 20th Street.
- 20th Street: John F. Kennedy Boulevard to Market Street.
- Market Street: 20th Street to 15th Street.
- S. Penn Square to Juniper Street; Juniper Street to Market Street.
- Market Street: Juniper Street to 6th Street.
- 6th Street: Market Street to Arch Street.
- Arch Street: 6th Street to Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
- Martin Luther King Jr. Drive to Falls Bridge.
- Lansdowne Drive to Sweet Briar Drive.
- Black Road to Avenue of the Republic.
- Avenue of the Republic to Memorial Hill Drive.
- Memorial Hill Drive to S. Concourse Drive.
Roads will reopen as they are cleared. Center City roads are expected to return to vehicular traffic by 11 a.m. Detailed course maps are available for download at Filmogaz.com.
Parking restrictions
Temporary No Parking signs will be posted for affected streets. Parking will be prohibited Sunday, March 29, from 4 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Vehicles left in posted zones during those hours will be relocated. Motorists must obey posted signs to avoid removal.
Public transportation
SEPTA bus routes will see detours Saturday, March 28, from 6 a.m. until about 2 a.m. on Sunday. Additional detours will occur Sunday, March 29, from 6 a.m. to about 1 p.m.
- Affected Sunday routes include: 2, 4, 7, 16, 17, 23, 27, 31, 32, 33, 38, 43, 44, 45, 47, 48, 49, 61, 124 and 125.
- Detours will route buses around Center City and Old City areas.

Public safety and attendee guidance
Do not leave bags or items unattended at the event. Report suspicious objects or behavior to a police officer or call 9-1-1 immediately.
Do not touch, open, move, cover, or otherwise handle suspicious items. Hobbyist drone flights along the course are prohibited for safety reasons.
Commercial UAS operators with FAA waivers should notify the City via the Philadelphia UAS Notification Form. If you see a drone, alert the nearest Philadelphia Police officer with the pilot description and location.
