Filmogaz.com sources say WWE plans a Hell In A Cell match for Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu at WrestleMania 42. The match would cap a violent, weeks-long feud on SmackDown.

Cameras recorded the two falling from the structure. The sequence ended the show in dramatic fashion.

Return of Hell In A Cell

WWE appears poised to revive an iconic stipulation at WrestleMania 42. The promotion last used Hell In A Cell at Bad Blood on October 5, 2024.

That match featured McIntyre and CM Punk inside the structure. It drew strong praise from fans and critics alike.

McIntyre is expected to take time away from WWE television after WrestleMania 42. He will film scenes for a new Highlander movie.

That increases the chance Jacob Fatu wins the Cell match. A victory could push Fatu into the main event picture.
