Amber Glenn Pursues Medal at 2026 World Figure Skating Championships Live Updates

The top skaters returned to the ice this week in Prague, Czechia. They are competing at the 2026 World Figure Skating Championships.

Short program standings

Japan’s Kaori Sakamoto led the field after the short program. The three-time world champion scored 79.31.

Mone Chiba of Japan was second with 78.45. Team USA’s Amber Glenn stood third with 72.65.

Heading into Friday’s women’s free skate, the podium picture remained open. Each skater will aim to improve on the short program placements.
