Pride in Coalville 2026 Reveals Headliner and New Family Program

Pride in Coalville returns to Coalville Park on Saturday 1 August 2026. Donna Marie, a Lady Gaga tribute act, will headline the free community event.

Headline performance

Donna Marie recreates Lady Gaga’s theatrical stage shows with live vocals. Her act features replica costumes crafted by designers with BBC and West End experience.

She has won multiple awards, including the Agents Association national tribute award as the UK’s top Gaga tribute in 2013. Donna Marie has headlined Pride events in London, Brighton and Zurich.

Family additions

Organisers also unveiled a New Family Program with a dedicated children’s entertainment area. The zone will offer shows, interactive activities and age-appropriate fun.

Jeddy Bear & Gary will host the family space. They have been nominated at the Leicester Comedy Festival and the UK Kids Comedy Festival.

Event programme and purpose

The festival is run by Pride in Coalville CIC. The inaugural edition attracted about 1,000 people to the Leicestershire town.

This year’s schedule includes live music, drag performances, local LGBTQ+ organisations, community stalls, food traders and family activities. The main stage will anchor the day’s entertainment.

Community message

Director Keiran Lee-Ridgway said the event aims to bring people together. He stressed the importance of creating an inclusive space for everyone.

He highlighted growing pressures on LGBTQ+ people, and urged solidarity, especially with the trans community. The gathering is intended as both celebration and support.
