April School Closures: The Perfect Month to Relax?

Spring break schedule
The Semana Santa break begins on Monday, March 30, 2026. Classes will be suspended through Friday, April 10, 2026.
Students are expected back in class on Monday, April 13, 2026. The total break covers nearly two weeks.

Council meetings and teacher observance
There will be no monthly Consejo Técnico meeting in April 2026. Those meetings typically suspend classes on the last Friday of each month.
Teacher’s Day falls on Thursday, April 30, 2026. Schools will suspend activities that day in observance of the holiday.
With April school closures aligning with Semana Santa, many families will have extended time off. For many, this is the perfect month to relax and plan short trips.
