Scrubs revival brings back the old goofy gang, but now they're, gulp, in charge — scrubs cast returns
Zach Braff, Donald Faison and Sarah Chalke have returned for a new season of scrubs. The first two episodes premiere back-to-back Wednesday and stream the next day; the date given in materials is Feb. 22.
Inside the Rebuilt Scrubs Hospital
The cast offered a behind-the-scenes tour of the rebuilt Sacred Heart Hospital, walking through halls constructed specifically for the revival. Production designer Roger Fires was tasked with building a 100% accurate sound stage recreation after the demolition of the original filming location, the North Hollywood Medical Centre, and the set is presented as the new Sacred Heart for the show.

A 100% Accurate Recreation
Roger Fires described the assignment as a full-scale recreation to match the demolished North Hollywood Medical Centre, and the production notes emphasize that the sound stage was rebuilt to be entirely faithful to the original Sacred Heart environment. All the doctors from Sacred Heart are back for the reboot of 'Scrubs, ' premiering this week.
