“Unity Celebrated at ‘Great Family Table’ with Veterans and Martyrs’ Families”
In a heartfelt event titled “Great Family Table,” unity was celebrated with veterans and the families of martyrs during the first day of Ramadan. This gathering took place under the auspices of the Valilik (governorate), led by Governor Ahmet Karakaya and his wife, Özlem Karakaya.
Significance of the Event
The program aimed to honor the valiant families who have sacrificed for the nation. It was part of a coordinated effort across 81 provinces in Turkey to bring together these cherished families. The event began with a reading from the Quran, paying tribute to the honorable martyrs.
Governor’s Message
During the iftar meal, Governor Karakaya expressed his deep admiration for the families of martyrs and veterans. He stated that sharing the table with them during Ramadan was an immense honor. He emphasized, “You are the most precious treasures of this nation. Our state will always be by your side; we will never forget our obligation to you.”
