Dylan Walczyk, a 32-year-old skier from upstate New York, finished seventh in the men’s qualifiers. This strong performance ensures his spot in the finals, scheduled for February 12 at 4:10 a.m. MST. Walczyk previously competed in the 2022 Olympics, where he placed 16th. He was the second American to qualify, following Nick Page, who finished fifth.
