Authorities in Marinette, Wisconsin, continue their search for 24-year-old Gabriella Cartagena, who was reported missing last week. Key Suspect in Custody
A person of interest, Robert Alan Chilcote, was arrested in Wright County, Minnesota, shortly after Cartagena’s disappearance. Chilcote faces several charges, including aggravated battery, and has been booked with a $500,000 cash bail set. His court date is scheduled for February 20.
Wright County records indicate that Chilcote was arrested on charges of both fleeing a peace officer and being a fugitive from justice. Authorities believe he may have been in the vicinity of Cartagena shortly before she went missing.
