Authorities in Morocco reported significant drug seizures in two separate operations conducted in Casablanca and Rabat. The police actions took place early Wednesday morning and resulted in the arrest of five individuals linked to drug trafficking networks.

The Casablanca operation targeted suspected drug dealers in the act. Law enforcement officials arrested two individuals for possession and distribution of narcotics. During the operation, officers recovered:

Rabat Operation Details

In Rabat, the Anti-Gang Brigade (BAG), in collaboration with the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST), carried out a successful operation. Three suspects were apprehended while traveling in a vehicle with false license plates near Bouznika. The search yielded:

  • 1,860 pills
  • 40 kilograms of cannabis resin
  • 350 kilograms of raw cannabis

Following these arrests, the individuals have been subjected to judicial investigations supervised by the appropriate legal authorities. Investigators aim to uncover the full extent and network of these criminal activities.

Ongoing Anti-Drug Efforts in Morocco
