IOC Grants MENA Broadcast Rights to beIN MEDIA GROUP

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has granted broadcast rights for upcoming Olympic events to beIN MEDIA GROUP. This milestone agreement, signed in Milan, marks a significant continuation of the partnership that began over a decade ago.

Strengthening MENA’s Olympic Coverage

This relationship reflects a mutual dedication to enhancing the Olympic Movement’s influence across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. IOC President Kirsty Coventry expressed enthusiasm about ongoing collaboration. She stated that beIN MEDIA GROUP’s extensive reach plays a crucial role in connecting millions of fans with the Olympic Games.

Extensive Broadcasting Coverage

Under the agreement, beIN SPORTS and its OTT platform, TOD, will provide comprehensive coverage that includes live events, highlights, and original programming. This initiative aims to engage audiences and elevate sports broadcasting standards in the region. The multi-language Olympic programming commenced with the live broadcast of the Milano Cortina 2026 Opening Ceremony.
