A tragic incident in Scarborough has led to serious charges against a teenager. A 15-year-old boy is facing charges of second-degree murder following the shooting death of a 16-year-old inside a Tim Hortons restaurant.

According to the Toronto police, the shooting occurred last Thursday at a Tim Hortons located at Lawrence Avenue East and Bellamy Road North. Officers responded to a call shortly after 4 p.m.
Upon arrival, authorities found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services transported him to a nearby hospital, where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.

The accused teenager has been charged with:
- Second-degree murder
- Possession of a firearm without a license
- Possession of a loaded regulated firearm
