Square Enix Unveils Save Data Bonuses for New HD-2D Game
The highly anticipated HD-2D game, *The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales*, is set to be released on June 18, 2026. In conjunction with this announcement, Square Enix has revealed a range of save data bonuses for players who own specific previous titles. These bonuses are designed to enhance gameplay and reward long-time fans of the studio.
Save Data Bonuses for The Adventures of Elliot
Players can unlock unique bonuses by having save data from any of the following games:
- *Octopath Traveler 0*
- *Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake*
- *Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster*
- *Various Daylife*
- *Triangle Strategy*
In addition, the save data from demos of these titles may also be eligible for bonuses. To qualify, the save data must be from the same account on the Nintendo Switch 2 console, or it must be transferred from the original Switch to the new system.

How to Claim Your Bonuses
Players can claim their bonuses after launching *The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales*. Here’s how:
- Select the Promotional Bonus option on the title screen.
- Link with any of the corresponding titles automatically.
- Start a new game and check the desk on the second floor of the orphanage in the Age of Safekeeping.
- Choose ‘Claim bonuses’ from the menu options.
Note that bonuses cannot be claimed at certain points in the game when the orphanage is temporarily inaccessible. As a part of this promotion, bonuses can be claimed at any time, even if the relevant save data is created after the game has started.
Square Enix has confirmed that while these bonuses are available at launch, there is no guarantee they will remain permanently available.
