The upcoming Mazda 6e is set to enter UK showrooms this summer. This sleek, rear-wheel-drive electric fastback aims to compete directly with the Tesla Model 3, starting at £38,995.

The Mazda 6e will be available in the UK with two trim levels: Takumi and Takumi Plus. Both trims share a single powertrain, differing from the offerings in Europe and China.

In comparison, the European model features two powertrain options, including a base variant with a 68.8kWh battery, offering 300 miles of range and 0-62 in 7.8 seconds. The top variant has 254bhp with an 80kWh nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) battery, achieving a range of 345 miles.
