‘The Mummy 4’ Hits Theaters May 2028, Stars Fraser and Weisz
Universal Pictures has announced the release date for “The Mummy 4,” scheduled to hit theaters on May 19, 2028. This highly anticipated sequel will see the return of Academy Award winners Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz, reprising their iconic roles as Rick O’Connell and Evelyn O’Connell.
Franchise Revitalization
The original “The Mummy,” released in 1999, revitalized the classic monster film genre and established Fraser as a leading action star. The sequel, “The Mummy Returns,” further solidified the franchise’s success, grossing $1.8 billion collectively.
