The BBC Radio 6 Music Festival is returning to Greater Manchester in 2026. Since 2023, this festival has focused on uplifting the grassroots music scene of the city. It does this by utilizing independent venues such as YES, Band on the Wall, and Eccles Town Hall Ballroom.

Artist Residencies and Themed Series
In the lead-up to the festival, select artists will host a four-part series titled “Artist in Residence.” This series will air from Monday to Thursday. Each episode will explore the musical journeys of the artists, centered around specific moods or themes.
