New Sports Bar and Mega Arcade to Open in Perth Suburb
A new entertainment venue is set to transform the leisure landscape in Clarkson, a suburb of Perth. Australia’s inaugural Dave & Buster’s will officially open in April 2024. This significant development follows a year-long planning phase, culminating in state approval received in February 2023.
Venue Features
Spanning 2000 square meters, the Dave & Buster’s location will be situated east of Ocean Keys Shopping Centre. It occupies the former site of a Good Guys warehouse. The venue promises a vibrant atmosphere with several key features:
- A custom-built 40-foot sports screen
- More than 30 ultra-HD screens broadcasting live sports
- A “mega” arcade featuring a dedicated Win Room
- A full-service bar with an American-inspired menu
Food and Beverage Offerings
The food menu will boast classic American dishes, including burgers, wings, sliders, and share plates. Each item will be thoughtfully reimagined using local Australian ingredients. Guests can also expect a diverse bar selection, featuring signature cocktails, frosty pints, and mocktails. Special happy hour promotions will provide additional attractions.
Operational Details
Dave & Buster’s Clarkson can accommodate up to 800 patrons. The venue will generally operate from 11 AM to midnight from Sunday to Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, it will extend its hours until 1 AM, ensuring a lively nightlife experience.
About NightOwl Entertainment
The venue will be managed by NightOwl Entertainment, a Western Australia-based hospitality group known for popular establishments like The Lookout in Scarborough and the social darts venue Flight Club. CEO David Heaton expressed excitement about the opening, indicating it will become a landmark for entertainment in the northern suburbs.
Expanding the Dave & Buster’s Brand
This site is the first of five planned Dave & Buster’s locations in Australia. Originally founded in 1982 in Dallas, Texas, the brand has grown to feature over 170 venues globally, predominantly in North America.
