Parry Sound Skier Qualifies for Olympic Slopestyle Finals Monday

Parry Sound’s Megan Oldham has successfully qualified for the finals in the women’s freeski slopestyle competition at Milano Cortina 2026. She finished seventh in the qualification round, outperforming her fellow Canadian Naomi Umess, who secured eighth place.

This qualification marks another step in Oldham’s Olympic career. She made her Olympic debut at Beijing 2022, where she qualified as the top contender for the women’s big air final and finished fourth. She narrowly missed advancing to the slopestyle final, ending her run just one spot shy.
