Honkai: Star Rail’s highly anticipated version 4.0 update, titled “No Aha at Full Moon,” is set to launch on February 13. Developed by miHoYo, this update takes players into the vibrant world of Planarcadia, which can be described as Aha’s playground.

In this new update, players will engage in the “Phantasmoon Games,” where they compete for the honor of becoming an “Aeon for a Minute.” This activity is central to the Trailblazer’s journey throughout the year, offering thrilling adventures in both Planarcadia and beyond.
The Express Crew will also venture to the Interastral Peace Entertainment headquarters, known as Astropolis, introducing players to new companions Yao Guang and Sparxie. Notably, Planarcadia was once a flat “World in Canvas,” which transformed into a bustling hub under the management of the IPC.
A Rich History and Unique Creatures
Planarcadia holds significant importance as it is the homeland of Navigator Himeko. It is also where the Astral Express began its journey fifteen years ago. Upon arrival, players will meet Madam Pearl, a member of the Strategic Investment Department.
Another exciting aspect of this update is the introduction of “imagenae,” unique creatures living symbiotically with the locals. Noteworthy examples include:
- Meowton, the station master
- Bullet Wyrm, a train-like creature
- Thundercoil, overseeing the city
- Mechatron, a locals’ favorite
The existence of these imagenae is dependent on people’s “Wishpower,” making entertainment essential for their survival. Consequently, entertainment facilities can be found throughout the streets and alleys of Duomension City.
Exciting Competitions and New Characters
Among the highlights of this update is the infamous “Phantasmoon Games,” which promises intense and unpredictable competitions. Various factions, including the Astral Express and the Stellaron Hunters, will participate, leading to unexpected twists.
Version 4.0 also introduces two powerful new 5-star characters:
- Yao Guang: A Seer Strategist from the Xianzhou Alliance, known for her fortune-telling abilities and control of battle flow through her skills.
- Sparxie: A fire-type character and famous streamer in Planarcadia, known for her engaging livestreams that impact combat.
