Barry Manilow Delays Vegas Shows After Cancer Surgery Recovery

Barry Manilow has announced a delay in his Vegas shows following his recovery from cancer surgery. Originally scheduled for February 12-21 at Westgate Las Vegas, these performances will be postponed to allow the singer more time to heal.

Manilow’s Health Update

In December, Barry Manilow underwent surgery to remove a cancerous spot from his lung. Recently, he expressed that he is recovering well but needs additional time before returning to the stage.

  • Manilow stated: “I’m doing great and recovering very well after my surgery.”
  • Physical activity and time in the studio have contributed to his recovery.
  • The decision to postpone performances was made based on his doctor’s recommendation.

Revised Performance Schedule

The postponed shows will now take place on March 26, 27, and 28. Tickets purchased for the February dates will be refunded as per the announcement.

Upcoming Tour Information

Despite the delay in his Vegas residency, Manilow is set to launch his arena tour. It will begin on February 27 in Tampa, Florida, at the Benchmark International Arena. The tour will visit several cities including:

  • Nashville
  • Orlando
  • Charleston
  • Portland

The tour is scheduled to conclude on April 29 in Duluth, Georgia, at Gas South Arena.
