Notably absent from this list are the PS4 and Xbox One consoles, confirming that the game will not be released for these systems.
Content and Gameplay Features
WWE 2K26 has received a Teen rating (T) due to its inclusion of blood, language, suggestive themes, and violence. The game incorporates the following features:
- Matches with both created and real-world WWE superstars
- Various match types such as tag team, extreme rules, and inferno
- Storylines that highlight significant matches and careers of wrestlers
- Realistic wrestling moves including submissions, grapples, and strikes
- Use of weapons like chairs and tables to inflict damage
Players will engage in dynamic gameplay where strikes may lead to visible blood, mimicking the intensity of actual wrestling matches.
Returning Features
The Inferno Match, a fan-favorite that previously appeared in WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009, is making a comeback in WWE 2K26. This match type was absent since 2K Sports assumed the WWE gaming license from THQ.
