Status Report
The Rangers held an optional morning skate prior to the game. Notably, Ondrej Palat and Carson Soucy will make their debut with the Islanders after being acquired through trades. Palat joins from the New Jersey Devils, while Soucy was traded from the Rangers.
Palat’s trade involved sending forward Maxim Tsyplakov and draft picks for the 2026 and 2027 NHL drafts. Pulock’s status will be determined closer to game time, as he has missed two consecutive games.
Additionally, the Islanders have sent defenseman Isaiah George back to Bridgeport of the American Hockey League.
