McDonald’s Revives Popular ’80s Menu Favorite for Limited Time
McDonald’s is thrilling customers with two exciting announcements this week. The fast-food giant has unveiled its new Hot Honey Sauce along with hot-honeyed sandwiches, including a fresh Snack Wrap. In addition, it has revitalized a beloved item from the ’80s: the Changeables Happy Meal toys.
McDonald’s Revives Changeables from the ’80s
The Changeables figurines were first launched in 1987 and quickly became a hit. These Transformer-like toys were designed based on menu items such as Chicken McNuggets and Big Macs. The toys transformed into various characters and included fan favorites like the Milkshake and Egg McMuffin.
Over the years, McDonald’s released two more series of Changeables in 1989 and 1990. However, they have not been available for decades—until now. The much-anticipated return features 16 collectible toys inspired by various iconic food items from the menu.
