DC Prepares for Winter Storm, Forecasts 10 Inches of Snow and Ice

Washington D.C. is bracing for a significant winter storm this weekend, with forecasts predicting anywhere from 5 to 10 inches of snow and sleet. A cold weather advisory is currently in effect, lasting until 10 a.m. Saturday. Sunday Forecast: Heavy snowfall continues into the morning, transitioning to a mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain by afternoon. Highs will range from 24-28°F.
Monday Forecast: Mostly sunny but cold, with highs between 24-29°F. Snow and ice will persist on roadways.
