About the Tour
The “Lions and Tigers and Bears” tour is set to return in 2026 following its successful inaugural run last year. This year, the tour will expand to visit 25 new venues throughout England.
Gordon Buchanan’s Career
Often compared to David Attenborough, Gordon Buchanan has devoted his career to capturing wildlife across the globe. His journey began in 1989, mentored by survival cameraman Nick Gordon in Sierra Leone’s Gola Rainforest.
Gordon has worked on various notable series, including:
- Big Cat Diary
- BBC’s Lost Land Of The…
- Family & Me (beginning in 2010)
More recently, he appeared in “Wild Horses, The Rockies and Me” and was involved in tracking big cats in Botswana for the BBC’s “Big Cats 24/7,” set to return next month.
As the tour approaches, fans eagerly anticipate the combination of Gordon’s insights and captivating wildlife photography, particularly focusing on the beloved animals featured in the competition.
