Orioles Launch Camden Yards City Connect Jerseys

The Baltimore Orioles unveiled a new City Connect uniform that pays tribute to Camden Yards. The team will debut the set on Friday, April 10, against the San Francisco Giants.

Design elements rooted in Camden Yards

The jerseys feature green sleeves that match the ballpark seats. A historic “B” logo, drawn from the 1890s Baltimore Baseball Club, appears on the cap and helmet.

Design details include a sleeve patch inspired by Eutaw Street home run markers. A clock motif is recreated near the hip. The collar shows an orange brick pattern as a nod to the stadium facade.

Branding and visual cues

The white-base uniform uses green and orange accents. Across the chest the word BMORE provides a modern, gritty touch.

The Lifelike Bird perches atop the “R” in BMORE. The T. Rowe Price logo was recolored to fit the palette. The sleeve patch reads “From the stoop to the Yard.”

Behind the concept and reactions

The City Connect program began in 2021 via Nike and Major League Baseball. Baltimore previously released a City Connect uniform in 2023 that drew mixed reactions.

An internal working group led the new design. It included community relations, communications, marketing staff and player input. Several players joined the photoshoot on a rowhome stoop.

410 Day and Friday-night programming

The April 10 opener doubles as 410 Day, honoring Baltimore’s telephone area code. The club will wear the uniforms each Friday home game this season.
