Get Presale Tickets to Metallica ‘Life Burns Faster’ Residency at Metallica Sphere

Metallica announced an eight-show residency titled “Life Burns Faster” at Sphere in Las Vegas, and a special presale window opens before the general on-sale. The metallica sphere run is set for October 2026 and will carry the band’s No Repeat Weekend approach into a venue built around immersive audio and visual technologies, making the timing and ticket windows critical for fans.

Dates and scope of the eight-show run

The band will perform eight shows in October 2026 on Oct. 1, 3, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29 and 31. The calendar allows expansion into December should demand merit that extension; earlier coverage in January said October and December were planned and that the deal was signed months ago. The run is explicitly described as an eight-show engagement taking place at Sphere in Las Vegas.

Presale window and public on-sale timing

A special presale for listeners of a partner service runs on Thursday, March 5 from 10 a. m. PT to 10 p. m. PT. Single-night tickets and two-night No Repeat Weekend packages will be available to the general public starting Friday, March 6 at 10 a. m. PT. Tickets, enhanced experiences, travel packages and registration information will be made available through the band’s ticket channels ahead of the public sale.

Tallica Talk call-in show and promotional programming

A new monthly call-in show called "Tallica Talk" will feature exclusive programming around the residency announcement. The show is hosted by Spider Dan and Steffan Chirazi and will accept calls at 844-TALLICA. The premiere episode will focus on the Sphere announcement on Wednesday, February 25 from 4–5 p. m. PT / 7–8 p. m. ET and each future episode will feature a different theme tied to the band and its plans.

No Repeat Weekend format and setlist approach

The residency will continue the No Repeat Weekend tradition that began with the band’s 2023 kickoff of the M72 World Tour: no songs will be repeated on each Thursday and Saturday pairing throughout the run. The eight-show engagement is billed as featuring live staples and surprises spanning Metallica’s catalog, with two-night No Repeat Weekend packages offered alongside single-night tickets.

How Metallica Sphere will use immersive technology and production partners

The eight-show run is described as enhanced by the venue’s immersive technologies: the world’s highest resolution LED display that wraps up, over and around the audience; Sphere Immersive Sound delivering audio with clarity and precision to every guest; and multi-sensory 4D technology. The production is being handled by Live Nation and presented by inKind. inKind is described as a rewards and financing partner that gives diners special offers and credit back when they use the app to pay at thousands of restaurants and offers innovative financing to participating restaurants to enable new levels of sustainability and success.

Organizers say the Sphere production will present a wholly unique Metallica experience for attendees and the band members—James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo—are included as part of that presentation. The production timing would also coincide with the 40th anniversary of Master of Puppets, the band’s first gold album. Metallica is noted as the first heavy metal band to play Sphere; the band was also the first metal band to play Allegiant Stadium in February 2022. All four band members made an unbilled, attempted covert appearance at Sphere for an Eagles show on Jan. 30 as a scouting mission. The classic lineup is scheduled to close the M72 world tour on July 5 in London, leaving time to build the Sphere-caliber production ahead of the October dates.
