How to Upgrade to Switch 2
If you already own Subnautica or Below Zero for the original Switch, you can upgrade at no cost. Follow these simple steps:
- Ensure your version of Subnautica or Below Zero is downloaded and updated on your Nintendo Switch 2.
- On February 17th, navigate to the Nintendo Switch 2 store page for your game.
- Select the “Upgrade pack” option.
- Click “Free download” to upgrade.
Note: For users in Japan, there will be a ¥100 charge when the Switch 2 version releases due to local legal requirements.
