Chiwetel Ejiofor has officially joined the cast of the upcoming film in the acclaimed horror franchise, ‘The Exorcist.’ Following his collaboration with director Mike Flanagan on ‘The Life of Chuck,’ Ejiofor’s addition brings further excitement to the project.

Production Details

This new installment will also feature Scarlett Johansson, Jacobi Jupe, and Diane Lane. It is produced by a collaboration among Blumhouse, Atomic Monster, Morgan Creek, and Universal Pictures. Principal photography is set to begin soon in New York City.

Release Information

The film is slated to hit theaters on March 12, 2027. Unlike previous entries, this film presents an entirely original storyline, distinct from ‘The Exorcist: Believer,’ which was released in 2023.
