Rosé Dismisses ‘World’s Most Beautiful’ Title as Embarrassing After Grammy Snub

Rosé, a member of the popular K-pop group Blackpink, has recently garnered attention after being named the “most beautiful face in the world” for 2025. However, despite this accolade, she faced disappointment at the Grammy Awards, where she did not win in her nominated categories.

On February 2, 2023, during the Grammy Awards pre-telecast ceremony in Los Angeles, the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category was awarded to the song “Defying Gravity” by Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. This meant Rosé’s collaboration “APT.” with Bruno Mars, along with other K-pop entries like “Golden” from K-Pop Demon Hunters and KATSEYE’s “Gabriela,” did not secure an award.

Rosé received three nominations this year, including Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year, solidifying her place in the global music scene. Her previous track “APT.” had won Song of the Year at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2022, generating high hopes for a Grammy victory.

In addition to her Grammy journey, Rosé’s recognition as the top name on the “100 Most Beautiful Faces of 2025” list has brought her further praise. In a recent interview on the ELLE Korea YouTube channel, she was taken aback by the announcement and exclaimed, “Oh, what is this?” Her humility was evident as she stated, “I’m so embarrassed. I don’t really understand this.”

Rosé expressed her gratitude while maintaining her characteristic modesty. She humorously shared her secret to beauty, revealing, “I eat delicious food every day,” specifically mentioning her enjoyment of strawberries and squid. This light-hearted response drew laughter from her fans, showcasing her approachable personality.
