Loreen Unveils ‘Wildfire,’ Her First Album in Nearly a Decade, and New Single

Loreen, the celebrated Swedish singer and two-time Eurovision Song Contest winner, is poised to release her first full-length album in nearly ten years. Titled “Wildfire,” the album is set to drop on March 27, 2025, via Polydor France. This highly anticipated project will feature her previously released singles “Is It Love” and “Tattoo,” along with the new track “Feels Like Heaven.”

New Single: Feels Like Heaven

“Feels Like Heaven” is described as a cinematic and emotive pop song. It is co-written and produced by Jesse Shatki, with contributions from Myles Avery, Calum Landau, and Grammy-nominated artist Sia. Loreen highlights that the song delves into themes of letting go, embracing love, and experiencing emotional freedom.

Artist’s Vision

Loreen elaborates on the song’s meaning, stating, “When heaven is spoken about here, it isn’t a place or a belief system. It’s an inner state. Just like hell, it exists in the mind and is experienced in the present moment.” She emphasizes that surrendering to one’s feelings can lead to freedom, love, and a greater understanding of oneself and others.
