City Launches Emergency Intervention on Djalma Batista Road
The city of Manaus has initiated an emergency intervention on Djalma Batista Road to address significant structural concerns. This action took place on January 30th, under the management of the Municipal Secretary of Infrastructure (Seminf).
Emergency Intervention Details
The intervention was prompted by a leak identified at the Mindu creek bridge. With the potential for hazards affecting both pedestrians and motorists, Seminf was swiftly mobilized to assess the damage and initiate repairs.

Renato Junior, the acting Mayor and Secretary of Public Works, emphasized the prompt action taken by Seminf. He stated, “Our teams are prepared to ensure enhancements within the city and strengthen our infrastructure systems across all neighborhoods.”
